One of the primary functions of one45 is to make the distribution of evaluation forms quick and easy. Block sendouts accomplish this goal. You can think of a block sendout as simply a group mailing in which all individuals receive the evaluation forms pertaining to the rotations they are scheduled to participate in.
Note: The key to generating a block sendout is the unique way your rotation schedule is organized. To read more, please see Block Templates.
To perform a block sendout:
1 Click the Sendouts tab.
2 Click the appropriate block template (i.e., Monthly, 1/2 Monthly, Weekly, 2-Week etc.).

Q | Why don't I have all the block template options mentioned in this help section (i.e., Monthly, 1/2 Monthly, Weekly, 2-Week etc.)? |
| A | The number of block templates that you use (the maximum is two) depends on how your rotation schedule is set up. Please see Block Templates for more info. |
3 Click on the block you want to send.

4 Click the Start button.

A preliminary summary of the sendout appears. It shows which rotations will have forms sent to their participants and which individuals will be asked to self-schedule themselves.

| By default, every sendout is accompanied by an email. If you want to perform a sendout without including an email, uncheck the "with email" box at the bottom of the preliminary summary. |
5 Click the Send button. A full summary of the sendout appears. It includes a record of the emails that failed, which forms were sent and when, as well as the number of learners who were asked to self-schedule for that block.

Q | Why don't all the forms for the block get sent out immediately when I perform the block sendout? |
| A | It is important to remember that when you attached the forms to the rotation, you specified how many days before the end of that rotation each form should be sent. Therefore, when you perform a block sendout you are not actually sending the forms. Instead, you are giving one45 the go-ahead to send each form when they are scheduled to be sent (e.g., 3 days after the start of the rotation, 7 days before the end of the rotation, etc.). |
Once you perform a sendout, the block will turn light-blue and a progress bar will appear.

To learn more about tracking the progress of your block sendouts, please see Monitoring Your Block Sendouts.
