Faculty Best Guess List

The Faculty Best Guess List consists of the list of faculty that are most likely to be supervising a learner in a particular rotation. This list is used when someone needs to choose which faculty member is associated with a particular rotation. Depending on your system preferences, form distributors and learners can pick from this list to assign evaluations to faculty.

To add faculty to a Faculty Best Guess List:

1 Click the Setup tab.

2 Click the Best Guess List link.

3 Scroll down until you see the rotation name. Click "add faculty."

To add a faculty member to more than one rotation's Best Guess List, select the checkboxes beside the rotation names and click the "Add Faculty" button at the bottom of the screen.

4 In the People Picker, type one or more letters of the faculty member's last name and click the Search button.

5 Click the name of the faculty you want to add.

	Q	Why is someone on the Faculty Best Guess List when I haven't added them?
	A	Learners can also add faculty to the Best Guess List. Occasionally, a learner will need to assign an evaluation to a faculty member who is not on the list. In these cases, the learner can perform a search and add the faculty. These faculty will remain on the Best Guess List until an administrator removes them.

To remove faculty from a Faculty Best Guess List:

1 Click the Setup tab.

2 Click the Best Guess List link.

3 Scroll down until you see the rotation name. Click "del" beside the faculty member's name.

To remove all faculty from a rotation's Best Guess List, click "(empty all)" below the rotation name.

To remove all faculty from more than one rotation's Best Guess List, select the checkboxes beside the rotation names and click "empty checked rotations" at the bottom of the screen.
