The first step in planning next year's schedule is setting your rotation staffing requirements. By entering the minimum, maximum and target staffing levels for your rotations into the Rotation Schedule Planner (RSP), they will serve as your guide when you begin slotting learners into your schedule.
To enter your rotation staffing requirements:
1 Click the Schedules tab.
2 Click the schedulePlanner link. The RSP appears in a new window.
3 Click the "staffing levels" tab.
Under this tab, your rotations are listed alphabetically down the left side of the screen. Beside each rotation are three text boxes corresponding to the minimum, target and maximum staffing levels for that rotation (from left to right).

4 Enter the staffing levels for each rotation in the boxes beside the rotation name. If a rotation does not have predetermined staffing levels, you can leave the boxes showing "0".
5 Click the Save button. Your staffing level information is automatically transferred to the other interfaces in the RSP.
Once you have entered the staffing levels for your rotations you will rarely need to use the “staffing levels” tab again. From this point on, you can complete your planning for next year by using the "By Rotation" interface and the "By Learner" interface. You will likely be switching between them quite often.
