About one45
one45 Software Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Cytiva Software Inc. (CRX on TSX-V), a leading, publicly traded developer of human capital management software. one45 was founded in 2002 in Vancouver, British Columbia, with the goal of providing software solutions that would free healthcare school administrators from the “pain” of data management so they can shift the balance of their efforts towards improving teaching and learning at their institutions.
Healthcare schools are latecomers to the world of technological tools. Five years ago, most administrators were still required to collect, collate and repurpose immense volumes of data (evaluations results, rotation and duty hours scheduling, accreditation requirements, etc.) by hand. A few schools had developed their own, “homegrown” software tools to help ease the administrative burden, but these solutions were usually inflexible, expensive and often caused more problems than they solved. one45’s tools unleash administrative data, allowing information to be shared up and down the institutional hierarchy safely, efficiently, effortlessly and in real-time.
Developed in consultation with medical education administrators from across North America, one45’s products are consistently focused on end-user satisfaction and incorporate all of the best ideas from across the country. In less than three years, the company’s flagship software modules (UMEAdmin and GMEAdmin) had become the de facto standard medical education administration tools in Canada and counted major U.S. universities as happy clients. one45’s FacultyTrack CV system was developed to unlock the value of faculty accomplishments, creating a central repository for the tracking of faculty output.
In 2007, one45 was acquired by Cytiva Software Inc., a North American developer of employee talent management software. Combined, Cytiva and one45’s mission is to expand the reach of one45’s respected healthcare education solutions in the U.S.
